2007-2008 Shrine Concert Series
The Music Department at Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine has announced the upcoming 2007-2008 Shrine Concert Series.
All programs are scheduled to take place in the Shrine church. Ample free parking is available to all attendees.

Music of the Advent and Christmas season by composers Praetorius, Chadwick, Lauridsen, Whitacre and more, including "Christmas Cantata" by Daniel Pinkham and a holiday sing-a-long. Directed by Dr. William Picher, Director of Music Ministries at the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe.

The Annual Diocesan Choir Festival provides inspiring choral selections during the Mass, as well as special music for combined choirs preceding and following. 20 choirs participating with over 300 singers. Directed by Dr. Robert E. Lamb, Chair of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music at Brevard Community College.All are welcome.
